the lesson is for everyone
Our commitment
wcag 2.1 aa is the homework standard
Lesson Mugs LLC is committed to making educationalmugs.com usable by people with disabilities. We work toward WCAG 2.1 Level AA. This statement is not a claim that a full WCAG audit has been completed.
What we do
built in, not bolted on
Measures we take on this Site:
- Semantic HTML with a proper heading structure on every page
- Descriptive alt text on all photographs
- Full keyboard operability — menus, tabs, and forms work without a mouse
- High-contrast chalk-on-slate palette, with text sized to be read
- prefers-reduced-motion honored — all animation, parallax, and the 3D mug settle down when you ask
- Forms with real labels, and phone numbers as tap-to-call links
Known limitations
honesty clause applies here too
The rotating 3D mugs are rendered on a decorative canvas; everything they communicate — subject names, prices, descriptions — is also available as plain text next to them. The chalk-dust and dissolve animations are disabled entirely under prefers-reduced-motion. If you spot something we missed, we want to know.
